004 - Installing new runs

Once a plan was put in place, and materials were procured the new run could be finally be installed.

The first step was to guide the new coaxial cable into the attic via the old light fixture in my closet ceiling as seen below. This ended up being slightly more difficult than expected due to only having a slight idea of where the cable would end up in the attic.

Once that was pushed up a good amount I could pull the wire up to the attic and run the rest of it to the splitter.

This process was more tedious than difficult. A couple of trips back and forth needed to be made to untangle, and help the cable go in smoothly. Once this was all run, a good amount of cable was left over in the closet to be later run to the modem and other hardware.
